Ok, Capture the Flag is live and I can practice on Saturdays. Yes I can make a login server but is would be h8d.co.cc

And also, are you making a dedicated computer? Meaning your not going to use it for anything but the server?

I was just wondering because Linux would be the cheapest, easiest, and most efficient way to set up and maintain a server.

And also, if he can keep one of those computers always on with an internet connection and no monitor, I can send him images to burn to a cd and install onto one of the computers with everything set up.

we just need one computer that is always on (note I will wipe Windows from it) and I will set it up remotely. Also if someone can and is willing to pay a few dollars a year, then we can get h8d.com

i think you may be misunderstanding a little. I need an unused computer. After I set up the dedicated server, it will no longer be used for normal functions like surfing the internet or playing games.

Oh wait, his computer is a laptop? I would highly not recommend a laptop as a server. (Nor a mac for that matter) And the computer cannot be used for anything (not even playing tron occasionally). The server would literally not have any graphical interface (no monitor). Just command line.

ill let yall use mine for now, and when i get time ill set up @h8d.co.cc login. It wont always be on so have a backup login if you need to login.
